Frozen Limbs

To the artist,

Where to begin? I'll start with my less praising thoughts.
The topic itself seems ambiguous, it doesn't seem there is a central point, or a subject to focus on here. I think this comes across from the fact that the branches in the very center, that take up a good amount of the photo, are blurry. Very blurry, and it is distracting, taking away from the rest of the photo. My eyes sort of focused in on the blurred areas instead of the clearer, more interesting parts of the image.

Other than that, I enjoy the idea of a surprise icing. You can see the buds of the branches with clear ice over, suggesting a spontaneous rain or ice storm. I love that idea, winter and spring clashing. I like the color, there is just enough of the brown to contrast nicely with the grays.
I also love the background, all your see are blurred lines of hundreds of the other branches, the effect pleasing to the eye.

Overall, I like it. (I am NOT a professional photographer, just a fan of photography!)
